adi have successfully secured a fantastic five year FM contract with a leading international supplier of outsourced support services to the healthcare market. The five year contract will see adi FM manage 19 sites within the UK supplying Facilities Management and engineering services including mechanical, electrical and validation services

NEW OFFICES
adi moved into a new 25,000 sq. ft. facility complete with office space and workshop facilities in July 2012. Due to adi’s continued expansion which has been visible both internally and externally for well over 12–18 months a strategic move was the only way forward to continue to grow the business

adi Mechanical have been awarded an additional two year mechanical and electrical maintenance contract at a leading company specialising in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments at their head office production facility

adi Healy Compressors have secured their first and largest order to date with new client (a leading chewing gum manufacturer). The team supplied and installed two new compressors and a new dryer from pull-through work via adi Climate Systems

adi Ireland have officially won the HVAC contract for a leading Irish University. This is fantastic news as a huge amount of effort and time went into securing this major contract. The contract started on 3rd December and runs for three years

adi City Electrical have managed to beat off six other companies to become the main contractor for a West Midlands Hospital Trust. The project consists of building, electrical and mechanical works

After substantial input from Paul Hart and his Projects team, adi Mechanical have built on the efforts of adi Climate Systems and adi Inditherm by being awarded a significant conveyor project for a leading chewing gum manufacturer

adi Climate Systems have secured a considerable order from a European pioneer in the development of mainstream soya-based food and drinks, for a new air handling unit and associated services to provide temperature control for their Filling Hall. The installation, to be completed by April, will see adi Climate Systems working within a live production facility

adi have opened an operational base in Burton upon Trent. Situated on one of the main feeder routes and just at the edge of the town, our facility will provide our current and potential customers in this and the surrounding area with a local support network for all of adi Group’s services

ADI GOES OLYMPIC FOR LAUNCH DAY
Four times Olympic Gold Medal Winner, Sir Matthew Pinsent officially opened adi’s new head office building. Sir Matthew wowed the audience with a motivational speech and local TV coverage firmly puts adi on the Midlands Engineering Map

HEALTH & SAFETY
adi Ireland have carried out a successful OHSAS 18001: 2007 Health & Safety Audit. No concerns were raised and the external auditor commended our Health & Safety Management System

CHARITY WORK - BUSINESS ACTION ON HOMELESSNESS (BAOH)
During the last three months of 2012 we have assisted in two work placements at Head Office: one within the H&S and HR Teams and the other within the adi Interiors and Project Teams. One of these placements successfully gained a temporary role and then a permanent role within adi Group and we also had a placement in the last quarter of 2012 within the Belts Team (Bournville)

RACING NEWS
adi has a passion for racing and continues to sponsor Patrick Sherrington in the Sports 2000 Duratec Championship (www.sports2000srcc.com). adi also got involved with a Junior Funny Car in 2012 which is currently racing at Santa Pod. The car has been branded in full adi colours/logos – you can’t miss it!
