adi Group Employees Set To Support The Homeless
Employees from across the adi Group are preparing to join fellow Midlands based businesses on Friday 30th November for St Basils Big Birmingham Sleep Out.
The annual event which takes place in the grounds of Birmingham Cathedral will see more than 40 members of staff braving the dropping temperatures to help raise vital funds for St Basils – a charity that works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and helps support over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry.
This year marks the sixth consecutive year that adi Group will be participating in the event with some 40 employees sleeping out and fundraising in support of St Basils. The Group features a mix of those that have participated in the sleep out before as well as members of staff taking on the challenge and fundraising for the first time.
James Sopwith, adi Group’s Strategic Account Director who has taken part in the last six Big Sleep Out events said, “We are excited to once again take part in St Basils Sleep Out which is one of the highlights on our annual fundraising calendar. This is a cause we have supported for the last six years and it’s fantastic to have seen the event grow during that time.”
“It’s vital that services like St Basils can continue help thousands more young people in need – especially with government funding cuts – which is why we’re trying to raise as much money as possible to help support St Basils reach its £1million fundraising target.”
If you would like to help adi Group support St Basils, donations large and small are being accepted over on our JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/adi-group-st-basils-sleep-out-2018
