adi Group has celebrated 25 years in business by raising vital funds for healthier heart advocates, Heart Research UK.
adi Group, which is known both locally and in the industry for its charitable work, marked the milestone with a conference at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum, raising £1,200 for the heart health research charity over the course of the event.
The group, which also works with local schools and young people through its apprentice academy, surprised their 450 staff with a selection of team building activities. For every challenge completed, the group made a donation to the charity.
The conference saw CEO and founder Alan Lusty reflect on his company’s growth from single business offering, to a multi-disciplined engineering Group with a 2014 turnover of £64 million.
Commenting on the success of the day, and the grand total raised for charity, Mr Lusty said:
“The last 25 years have been a real journey, and being able to celebrate the group’s success with a team 450 strong is incredible.
“adi has always made giving back a priority, so it seemed only fitting to make fundraising a central part of our event. Heart Research UK is a fantastic charity, and I’m proud to have shared this important milestone for adi with such a worthwhile cause.”
