adi Group has revealed plans to open a base in Burton, creating up to 30 jobs over the next two years.
The new base in Burton is a response to growing customer demand and additional service requirements in the area, particularly within the food and beverage industry, and comprises an office and two mechanical workshops. The new base brings our total regional bases to 12 locations across the UK and Ireland.
The Group is initially recruiting for five roles, to include a site manager and skilled trade engineers in the fields of process engineering, basic mechanical engineering, pipe fitting and welding, steel mechanical fitting, and general fabrication welding.
Stephen Forrester, managing director for adi Group’s mechanical division, said:
“We are currently recruiting for five roles to make the base operational, but in line with our pledge to hire 500 people nationally by 2020, we intend to grow the Burton team to approximately 30 employees over the next two years. We are confident that demand for our services will only continue to grow as the UK manufacturing market recovers, and look forward to being able to respond to that growth from the new Burton base.”
Founded as a single business offering by chief executive Alan Lusty in 1990, the group has quadrupled in size since 2005, and today has a turnover of £80m and 450 employees.
