adi Group Wins Sustainability Award At BPBA 2018
adi Group’s CSR and sustainability programme gained further recognition at the Birmingham Post Business Awards with the multi-disciplined engineering Group taking home the Sustainability award title.
The awards final, took place at The ICC, and were attended by hundreds of Birmingham’s business elite and celebrated the county’s best companies as well as reminded people and businesses alike that Birmingham is a great place to do business.
The Sustainability Category recognised companies that have demonstrated considerable dedication to corporate, social and ethical responsibility. The judges selected adi Group as the category winners due to the way in which we have used sustainability to improve performance and shown investments within our product/ service to make ourselves more sustainable as a company.
The Sustainability Award marks the third time that adi Group has been reocgnised in the Birmingham Post Business Awards having previously won the People Development Category in 2015 and finalist accolade for Contribution to the Community in 2017. The Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Alan Lusty, was also recognised in 2015 winning the Outstanding Professional category.
Alan Lusty, Chief Executive Officer at adi Group said, “Our entry focused on our commitment to initiatives in our CSR Programme such as sustainable recruitment via our pre-apprentice, apprentice programmes and placement programmes, our environmentally commitments via BP Target Neutral where we support sustainable projects and livelihoods in communities across the globe, our supply chain and of course work we do within our various local communities across the UK.”
