On Wednesday 11th February, Rachel Maclean (Prospective Conservative MP for Birmingham Northfield) visited adi Head Office to learn more about what we do as a business and how we have continued to grow through the recession.
Having also set up a business with her husband some years ago, she was extremely impressed with adi’s successes. Rachel had the chance to meet various members of staff and some of our apprentices, which with her strong links to ‘building skills for the future’, she saw as a major value for our Company.
Rachel commented; “I really enjoyed seeing all the fabulous work that you do and learning about your business. It’s always fascinating to hear how a business came to be and to hear first-hand the drive and vision of the person who started it. It’s great that contrary to some of the perceptions that people have, manufacturing and engineering is strong and growing in our area.”
