  • As an employer or person in control of premises, you must appoint someone competent to help you comply with your health and safety duties, e.g., take responsibility for managing the risks. A competent person is someone with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to manage health and safety, including the control measures - “ACOP L8 Version 4” 
  • Training has been developed to cover different learning styles and to ensure that the variety of ways we absorb information are catered for
  • The training courses are interactive with practical application of theory to real life situations, that have previously led to prosecutions, improvement notices and even legionella outbreaks
  • Site based courses can be tailored to site issues, plant and processes, and site inspections can be scheduled to apply knowledge gained
  • Courses can be held either on site or at adi HQ training rooms in Birmingham
  • The aim of the course is not just to pass an exam, but to understand the gaps that have caused failures in system management and loss of system control
