The Role  

A Project Manager will manage the Project Management of processes and solutions from start to finish specifying in Oil and Gas. 

Specifically, you will:

  • Assist in the development of project opportunities from concept through to handover
  • Scheme development, Enquiry assessment, Engineering scope determination
  • As Tender Manager manage the preparation of a turnkey opportunity utilising support from internal adi Group resources and external suppliers as applicable
  • Commercial risk management to mitigate adi exposure and commercial risk (contractual review, T&C’s, business risk assessment etc.)
  • Prepare estimates and prices for work opportunities
  • Assist with bid proposals & contract negotiations
  • Support Sales in the securing of work for the Projects business
  • Plan and manage in house adi Group resources allocated to a project
  • Plan and manage subcontract resources associated with a project
  • Own the P&L in areas given the responsibility
  • Coordinate the site management team / provide management support
  • Scheduling project programme
  • Create, issue and maintain timing plans.
  • Liaise and coordinate with design engineers and manufacturing team.
  • Dealing with contract variations.
  • Preparing new quotations.
  • Compiling and/or coordination of the preparation of risk assessments and method statements for site installations.
  • Liaising with the Customer / business relationship development
  • Ensuring completion of the project to the customer requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of final project documentation.
  • Compile and present Project Reports.
  • Report progress, manage risks and respond to issues
  • Customer facing business development support
  • Sales support to colleagues
  • Support the growth of the adi Group
  • Actively promote adi Group and be an exemplar of the adi business core values
  • Work closely with senior members of the adi Projects team
  • Build & develop strong client relationships
  • Develop with the support of senior team members into a project management role
  • Any other role that the business requires on a reasonable basis

About You 

To join us as a Project Manager, you will need: 

  • Must have mechanical degree or equivalent
  • Strong Project Management experience in Oil and Gas Specific areas. 
  • Flexible and prepared to travel nationally
  • Have the ability to manage multiple parallel projects
  • Have strong people management skills
  • A positive “can do” attitude
  • Be reliable and consistent
  • Demonstrate a confident and determined approach
  • Have a high degree of enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Be target driven with the desire to achieve results
